Practice CBT skills and techniques through CBT models of low self-esteem, anxiety and depression & others.What people think affects how they feel emotionally and also alterswhat they do. CBT offers an approach in which collaborative working canhelp us identify and the change self defeating thoughts and unhelpfulbehaviour so that we feel increased satisfaction, happiness and self confidence.
During this workshop we will identify the basic principles and core models and study assessment and basic formulation for making intervention. The course will appeal to a broad range of practitioners including counsellors, those working in general practice, psychiatry, learning disability, forensic services and with the elderly.
Participants are asked to bring client material for use in discussion.
Having attended this workshop, participants will be issued with a statement of attendance for 12 hours training.
