What people think affects how they feel emotionally and also alters what they do. CBT offers an approach in which collaborative working aims to help the person identify and the change their self defeating thoughts and unhelpful behaviour so that they can lead more satisfying lives.
During this workshop we will identify the basic principles and core models and study assessment and basic formulation for making intervention. The course will appeal to a broad range of practitioners including counsellors, those working in general practice, psychiatry, learning disability, forensic services and with the elderly.
REQUIREMENTS
Please ensure that you are available to attend every date in which you register. This course requires 100% attendance; absences will need to be made up with additional tutorials at your own expense. Certificates can not be issued without complete attendance.
