Flexible Modular Structure

Our modular structure means that credits for the diploma can be built up in the student's own time schedule in discussion with the training co-coordinator.

Course Overview 

• This course consists of 15 days direct teaching and experiential work
• Written project
• 6 group tutorials focusing in the application of creative methods with clients
• Ongoing supervision is a course requirement for therapists

Course Schedule

The following modules can be taken individually, used as the taught component for the diploma in creative methods or as part of the required elements for the diploma in psychotherapy – children & young people.

1. Active Imagination & Guided Imagery (5 days)
2. Sand Tray (2 days)
3. Understanding & Working with Dreams (2 days)
4. 4 days of skills training modules to be decided in discussion with your tutor
5. Creative Method Seminar ( 4 x 3 hours )

Requirements

• Full attendance at all training modules
• Successful completion of a written project on the application of a creative method
• Attendance at six group tutorials
• On-going supervision of therapeutic work
• Brief portfolio demonstrating how the candidate has met the criteria for the award

Assessment to Diploma based on written project and portfolio £150
