CPD workshops for Professionals and Trainees

CBT (Cognitive Behavioural Therapy)
During this 2 day workshop we will identify the basic principles and core models and study assessment and basic formulation for making intervention. The course will appeal to a broad range of practitioners including counsellors, those working in general practice, psychiatry, learning disability, forensic services and with the elderly.

Certificate in Clinical Supervision Skills

This 5 day stand alone intensive training is designed for those whose work involves the clinical supervision of others within the helping professions. This course will appeal to Psychologists, Psychotherapists, Counsellors and staff from the Care Sector, the Mental Health Sector, and Social Services. It is suitable for beginning supervisors as well as those with experience in the field who are looking to consolidate their learning and gain a qualification.

Diploma in Supervision: Containing Malicious Projections in Supervision

Malicious projects are an attack on moral goodness. They contain “…wicked or mischievous intentions or motives; are wrongful and done intentionally without just cause or excuse..”

This workshop will focus on understanding what happens to the supervisee when they are the focus of this kind of attack and approaches to working with the projections in order to understand the energy driving them and how to work with that energy.

The first 2 days of this course will explore theoretical input, group discussion and experiential exercise. Day 3 will focus on supervised supervision.

Imagery & Active Imagination

Images convey powerful messages, spoken and unspoken. When we capture the image, we release mental and emotional energy, which can be channelled in a positive way. This course offers an opportunity to learn about the work of Jung and Leuner as a base for developing your therapeutic skills in working with imagery.
