Job Purpose
To provide a specialist child and adolescent psychotherapy assessment and treatment service for children, adolescents and their parents/carers and families who may be experiencing severe, highly complex and persistent behaviour and emotional difficulties and/or associated mental health problems.

Under the direction of the Executive Leadership Team, to contribute to the development of child psychotherapy services within the Trust.

Northern Guild Curator

Applications are invited for this position.

Key tasks:

  • Capturing and promoting the Spirit, the history and the values of Northern Guild, ensuring that they remain vibrant and flourish;
  • To support and promote the well-being of all involved with Northern Guild;
  • To make recommendations to the Directors and Trustees about changes and developments that will support the philosophy and values of Northern Guild;
  • To make recommendations to the Directors and Trustees about changes and developments that will support the philosophy and values of Northern Guild;
  • To support the Graduation, Open Evenings, Jesmond Road Centre and all Northern Guild events by ensuring that the ambience is conducive and beautiful, and that, when required, there are refreshments and flowers;
  • To oversee the Newcastle Centre and its gardenand to liaise with the office team about matters that require attention;
  • To encourage all building users to love and to care for the environment;
  • To form a group to develop an alumni association with a yearly social event/meeting

Salary £2,000.00 per annum

For psychotherapists working with children/families in West Yorkshire 

‘Impact Minds are on the lookout for freelance therapists to join our team. We work with children and families in West Yorkshire, providing psychotherapeutic consultation and assessment and short-to-long term psychotherapy with children, young people and their families. Our team includes child and adolescent psychotherapists; integrative child psychotherapists; art therapists and play therapists (ACP; BAAT; BACP; HCPC; UKCP). 

This is a freelance position, paid at competitive rates (equivalent to working independently in private practice).
